  • 6 apples
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • ¼ cup organic cassava syrup, organic maple syrup or organic honey
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 12 ounces spiced rum

Directions

  • Add sweetener of your choice, apples, cranberries, orange, cinnamon stick and nutmeg the slow cooker. Pour in 6-7 cups water.
  • Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4­-6.
  • Strain fruit using mesh strainer. Pour strained cider back into the slow cooker.
  • Stir in rum. Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes.
  • Serves: 8 servings
