Golden Turmeric Milk

  • 1 1/2 cups Rice milk

  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk

• Baking & Spices

  • 2 grinds Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom, powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, grated
  • 2 Pods of star anise
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric, fresh
  • 1 tsp Turmeric, ground

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 1 tsp Coconut oil

• Liquids

  • 1 cup Water

Description

Directions

• Add water to medium saucepan on medium heat
• Add the fresh turmeric and ginger
• Add the rice milk
• Add the star anise, cardamom, nutmeg, ground turmeric, black pepper and stir
• Add coconut milk
• Add coconut oil
• Finally, add coconut sugar
• Bring to the boil
• Pour into 2 mugs - no need for straining
