Homemade Mulled Wine with Amaretto

  • 4 tbsp Vanilla syrup, sugar free

  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tsp Spice, mixed
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 6 tbsp Amaretto
  • 1 bottle Red wine

• Liquids

  • 1 1/8 cup Water

Ingredients

• 1 clementine
• 1 lemon
• 1 lime
• 1 bottle red wine (750ml)
• 2 tsp mixed spice
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp almond extract
• 2 tbsp (~20g) brown sugar
• 1 cup + 2 tsp water (250ml)
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 4 tbsp sugar free vanilla syrup
• 6 tbsp (90ml) amaretto

Directions

• Peel strips of zest from the orange, lemon and the lime. Add everything to a saucepan over a medium heat.
• Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to as low as possible and put a lid on the saucepan. Simmer for a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of an hour (the longest Ive been able to wait!)
• Serve in sugar rimmed glasses with segments of the orange, if you didnt eat it all whilst making the mulled wine!
