Maple Bourbon BBQ Sauce

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Honey mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Hot sauce
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Liquid smoke
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 1/4 cup Bourbon

Ingredients

• 1 cup ketchup
• 1/4 - 1/2 cup bourbon, to taste
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 1/2 tbsp honey mustard
• 1 tbsp liquid smoke
• 2 tsp onion powder
• 2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
• 1/2 - 1 tsp hot sauce, to taste

Directions

• All all ingredients to a sauce pan set over medium heat and stir so that everything is evenly combined. Let mixture cook until it reaches a boil, stirring occasionally.
• Once boiling, reduce heat to low or low-medium and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes as the sauce reduces. Once sauce has thickened to your liking, let cool and store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
