Ingredients

• • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
• • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
• • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
• • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• • A pinch of salt
• • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• • 2 eggs, beaten
• • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
• • 1 cup whole milk
• • 2 cups hot water

Directions

• In a mixing bowl, combine together the flour, cocoa powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, maple syrup, almond extract, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
• In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add to the dry flour mixture. Then, stir in the melted butter and the milk. Stir to combine well. Replace the cake mixture to a round cake pan.
• Add the rack to the pressure cooker; pour in the water. Place the cake pan on the rack. Bring to HIGH pressure; then reduce to LOW and cook for 30 minutes. Let the cake sit for 10 minutes; carefully remove your cake from the pan. Cut into wedges and serve.
