    • 1 cup Beef broth, low sodium

    • 1 Salt and pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 lb bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 onions, cut into large chunks
  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  • Brown bacon and sausage over medium heat.
  • In the slow cooker, add ¼ of the potatoes, onions, bacon and sausage. Repeat layers until all of those ingredients are used.
  • Sprinkle garlic, salt and pepper on top.
  • Pour broth over all ingredients.
  • Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6 hours.
