Description

This chunky soup is good to the last spoonful. Its my go-to recipe because its so hearty and we all always want more. —Penny Novy, Buffalo Grove, Illinois

This was easy to make and the whole family enjoyed. I didnt have any cabbage but other than that I followed the recipe. I will definitely make again.

This was good but a little to thick .I added a few other spices to it and used italian sausage . Next i will add more liquid to it .

Really, really good and very much like the restaurant version! I substituted spicy Italian sausage for the ground beef -- husband loved it! (He did pick out the cabbage but oh well.) It freezes well too, for those of us with smaller families.

Delicious! So easy to put together. Made it exactly as printed, with the exception of the cabbage. Did not have any on hand, so substituted spinach. This was so good and even better the next day for lunch. Thank You!

It was good but a bit lacking in the seasoning department. I used ground turkey rather than beef since thats what I had on hand. I would make again but add some more seasonings!

I made this on the stove and it turned out great and delicious. It may have been even better the next day for lunch!

Delicious. I exchanged some of the vegetables for what I had. It was very thick and wonderful.

This soup was easy and yummy.Because I wanted it for dinner tonight I made it on top stove instead of slow cooker. After adding all ingredients I simmered it for an hour adding elbow macaroni (I didnt have any datalini )the last 15 minutes.

Shame on you who rate a recipe without actually making it!!!

This was a traditional soup in my Italian family. We used pancetta, or Italian bacon if you will, and we didnt use a crock pot, beans were soaked overnight, and then fully cooked. we also pureed some of the beans leaving the rest whole. Never the less, I will give this a try to see how it compares to my mons soup. I have only given it a 3 star as I am unsure of the way it tastes will try to review again once made
