Soft Batch Christmas M & M Cookies

  • 2 tsp Corn starch
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar

Ingredients

• 1 Cup M & Ms
• 3/4 Cup (1 1/2 Sticks) Unsalted Butter, Softened
• 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
• 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 Large Egg
• 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
• 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
• 2 Teaspoons Corn Starch
• 1 Teaspoons Baking Soda

Directions

• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Chop 1/2 cup of M & Ms coarsely and set aside. 3. In a large bowl, using a hand held electric mixer,  cream together butter and both sugars.  Mix in egg and vanilla. 4. Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined.  Stir in chopped M & Ms. 5. Use a cookie scoop (1 Tablespoon size ) to form dough into balls and space evenly on a greased or Silpat lined cookie sheet.  Press 4-5 M&Ms into the face of each dough ball.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or just til the edges start to brown.
