Ingredients

• 1 oz lemon juice
• 1+ oz [violet syrup| (adjust to taste)
• 2 oz plain vodka or rum (optional!)
• lots of ice!
• Sparkling water, club soda, or other fizzy water of choice
• Fresh mint (optional)

Directions

• Add your lemon juice and violet syrup to a 12-14 oz glass. Also add your vodka if making an adult drink. Add lots of ice! (I made some pretty ice cubes by putting violet flowers and fresh sprigs of mint into ice cubes! It was a great addition.) using a shaker, or another cup, shake up your drink to get everything mixed well! It also breaks the ice up a bit and makes the drink extra cold and refreshing. Once youve shaken it all up, add your sparkling water/club soda to the top of your glass and stir it a bit. Enjoy on a hot day!
