Description
This sweet and tangy basting sauce came from my husbands family. With just four ingredients, its simple to stir up. A speedy alternative to bottled sauce, it can be brushed on chicken, ribs, pork or even turkey. —Jenine Schmidt, Stoughton, Wisconsin
The sauce really didnt have the bite that I expected so I added a dash of Worcestershire Sauce and balsamic vinegar to counterbalance the brown sugar. ZING. Im using it for grilled pork tenderloin tonight.
I ran out of BBQ sauce and used this instead ... yum :).
I made this recipe to go with some leftover chicken for sandwiches. I didn' t have any nutmeg so I substituted a little balsamic vinegar (I know, lol, not even close) but I have to say - - - - it is YUMMY! Definitely a keeper.
