The Love Spell Cocktail

  • 1 tsp Lemon
  • 2 oz Pomegranate, juice
  • 1/2 cup Pomegranate, juice

• Refrigerated

  • 1 Egg white

• Condiments

  • 1/2 oz Pomegranate syrup

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

• Frozen

  • 1 cup Ice

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 2 dashes Bitters
  • 1 oz Vodka

• Other

  • ½ ounce creme de violet

Description

Ingredients

• 1 egg white
• 2 ounces pomegranate juice
• 1 ounce of vodka
• ½ ounce creme de violet
• ½ ounce pomegranate syrup*
• 1 teaspoon lemon
• 2 dashes bitters
• 1 cup ice
• *pomegranate syrup:
• ½ cup pomegranate juice
• ½ cup sugar

Directions

• Add the egg white to a cocktail shaker, cover with the lid and shake for 15 seconds. Add the remaining ingredients, including the ice, and shake vigorously for 30-40 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass (I used a coupe glass).
• *Pomegranate Syrup:
• Combine the juice and sugar in a saucepan, heat over medium high, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Bring the syrup to a boil and cook for 60 seconds. Remove from the heat and pour into a glass jar to cool. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate. The syrup should keep, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 2 weeks.
