Winter Prosecco Cocktails with Sage, Pear & Ginger

  • 2 tbsp Ginger
  • 3/4 cup Pear
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 handful Sage, leaves
  • 1 Sage, leaves

• Condiments

  • 2 tbsp Honey

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 2 bottles Voveti prosecco

• Liquids

  • 1 cup Water

Description

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup grated pear
• 2 tablespoons minced ginger
• handful sage leaves
• 2 - 4 tablespoons honey
• 1 cup water
• 1 pear, sliced, as garnish
• sage leaves, as garnish
• 2 bottles Voveti Prosecco

Directions

• In a small pot combine water, grated pear, minced ginger, sage leaves and honey. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes until mixture is infused.
• Strain the mixture through a sieve and freeze the liquid syrup for a few minutes.
• Fill each prosecco glass with a pear slice, sage leaf and 1-3 tablespoons of the syrup. Add a few ice cubes and top up with Voveti Prosecco.
