This recipe is gluten free, Slimming World and Weight Watchers friendly Extra Easy - 1 HEa and 2 syns WW Smart Points - 14

Ingredients

  • 200g of extra lean ground beef
  • salt and black pepper
  • 500g of russet potatoes
  • ½ small white onion, diced
  • couple of slices of pickle, diced
  • 1 cup/240ml of shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 60g/2oz of cheddar cheese - 1 HEa
  • 2 tbs of low fat mayonnaise - 3.5 syns
  • 6 tbs/90ml of fat free plain yoghurt
  • ½ tsp of paprika
  • ¼ tsp of mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp of onion powder
  • couple of slices of pickle, diced
  • ½ tsp of sweetener of choice

Directions

  • Add the ground beef to a bowl and season well with salt and black pepper. Mix together.
  • Form into mini burger patties using burger press of by hand.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour to firm.
  • Preheat oven to 200c/400f (gas mark 6)
  • Peel potatoes and make into my Perfect Syn Free Fries
  • While the chips are cooking in the oven
  • Spray a frying pan over a medium heat with spray oil.
  • Add the mini burger patties and fry till browned.
  • Roughly chop patties and set aside
  • In a bowl add the mayo, yoghurt, paprika, mustard powder, onion powder, pickle and sweetener and whisk to combine.
  • Add some shredded lettuce to two plates.
  • Then once fries are ready, line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the fries into two piles on the tray.
  • Scatter with the chopped up burger patties.
  • Sprinkle with the chopped white onion
  • and scatter with the cheddar.
  • Place back in the oven till cheese is melted.
  • Serve over the crisp lettuce
  • Top with the chopped pickle.
  • Drizzle with the sauce
  • Sprinkle with a few sesame seeds.
  • Dig in and enjoy
