Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa powder
• 1/3 cup sugar, heaping
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup oil
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Powdered sugar
• Chocolate syrup
• 1 can cherry pie filling
• Whipped cream

Directions

• Preheat waffle maker on high setting. In large bowl whisk together your flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder until combined. Stir in your eggs, oil, buttermilk and vanilla until fully combined. Using about 1/2 cup measurements, pour your batter on waffle iron for about 3 minutes or until puffed and crispy.
