Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 8 cups cold water
• 1 cup fresh lemon juice
• 750 ml Moscato Champagne, chilled
• 1 lemon, sliced, plus 1 lemon, cut into wedges, for garnish

Directions

• Make a simple syrup by adding the sugar and water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Stir mixture until the sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
• Pour cold water and lemon juice into a large glass pitcher. Add the simple syrup and the lemon slices. Stir well. Pour the lemonade into champagne flutes, filling 1/2 to 2/3 of the way full and top off with champagne. Garnish the rims with lemon wedges!
