Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites

Ingredients

• 1 tube crescent roll dough (I try to find the sheet without seams)
• 1 tablespoon butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup pepperoni slices
• cooking spray
• pizza sauce (optional)

Directions

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
• Lay crescent roll sheet out on flat surface that has been dusted with a little bit of flour. Roll dough lightly to flatten and stretch about ½ inch on all sides.
• Mix garlic powder and melted butter together.
• Brush butter mixture over top of crescent dough.
• Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over dough surface.
• Layer pepperoni slices over top of mozzarella cheese.
• Roll dough lengthwise starting at the side closest to you and pinch any dough back together where it may tear as rolling.
• Slice dough into 14 slices and place in round baking dish or cast iron skillet that has been coated with cooking spray.
• Bake for 20-25 minutes or until rolls are browned. Let cool about 10 minutes before serving.
