These chili lime chicken skewers make a great appetizer recipe for a party. Theyre incredibly flavorful, have a kick, and are sure to be the star of your New Years party!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast, cut into strips and patted dry
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbs. lime juice
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • In a large bowl, marinate the chicken strips in all of the other ingredients. In another shallow dish, place wooden skewers in water. Allow the chicken to marinate and the skewers to sit for at least two hours. After marinating, thread the chicken onto the wooden skewers and grill through. Discard the leftover marinade. If you want to have some for dipping, prepare another batch that the chicken wont be sitting in.
