Chocolate Churro Muddy Buddies

Description

Ingredients

• 1 ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 9 cups Chex cereal
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1 ¼ cup powder sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup white granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon, for topping, optional

Directions

• In a large paper bag add powder sugar, brown sugar, white granulated sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
• Add cereal into a large bowl, set aside.
• In a bowl add chocolate chips and butter. Heat in microwave for 1 minute, remove and stir until completely melted and smooth, this may require you to heat for an additional 30 seconds. Immediately pour over cereal and mix until all pieces are coated with chocolate.
• Pour coated cereal into a paper bag with sugar and cinnamon mix, fold top over of paper bag and shake it, “shake-it like a Polaroid picture”.
• Once completely covered, pour the Muddy Buddies into a serving bowl, time for a fiesta.
