Chocolate Cut Out Cookies

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup powdered
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ¼ cup melted and cooled 60% cacao Ghiradelli Chips
• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa (dutch process)
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

• In a large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
• Add egg, vanilla extract, melted and cooled chocolate, cocoa mix thoroughly.
• Add in flour, baking powder, salt, and mix until all combined.
• Roll out cookies in between wax paper to ¼ inch thick and cut with cookie cutter.
• Place cookies onto parchment lined baking sheets and bake at 400 degrees for 7-9 minutes.
• Edges will be firm but not browned.
• Cool cookies on baking sheet before moving and icing.
