This Chocolate Fudge Skillet Cookie is an easy dessert that features a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, followed by a layer of rich, hot fudge, and then topped with more chocolate chip cookie dough. This skillet results in a soft cookie, stuffed with fudge and oozing with deliciousness!

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) packages refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
Vanilla ice cream for topping, if desired

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.
In four small cast iron skillets or one medium skillet, crumble half the package of cookie dough into small pieces, spreading in an even layer over bottom of skillet(s).
Drizzle hot fudge sauce over cookie dough.
Crumble remaining cookie dough on top of hot fudge, making sure to spread in an even layer.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until top is golden brown and set.
Remove skillet(s) from oven and allow to cool slightly.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and extra hot fudge sauce, if desired.
