In a LARGE-sized, non-reactive pot, bring beer, lemon juice, and pectin to a rolling boil.
Add sugar, return to a boil. Once it begins to boil, your liquid mixture will rise/froth very quickly, keep stirring to avoid overflowing. Boil on high for 5-8 minutes. Do the sheet test (see above) to test set.
Turn off heat, ladle into prepared (sterilized) 1/2 pint jars. Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, let cool on folded towel for 24-48hrs or until set.
