  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 green onions, roughly chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • hot sauce, optional
  • 1 (14-oz.) can quartered artichoke hearts, roughly chopped
  • crackers or bruschetta
  • vegetables, such as grape tomatoes, peppers, and carrots

Directions

  • Pulse garlic and green onion in a food processor until garlic is minced.
  • Zest lemon, then mince zest. Youll need 1 tsp. zest for use in recipe.
  • Juice lemon (you should have about 1/4 cup lemon juice), then add to food processor along with 1 tsp. zest, cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, and a few dashes hot sauce, if desired.
  • Process until well combined. (It doesnt need to be totally smooth. There should still be some green onion flecks.)
  • Add artichokes and pulse a few times until combined, but still chunky.
  • Serve spread with crackers or bruschetta and vegetables. Enjoy!
