Easy Refrigerator Dill Pickles

• Produce

  • 3 Cucumbers, small
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1/4 Onion

• Baking & Spices

  • 2 tsp Dill seed
  • 1 tsp Peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 1/2 cup Vinegar

• Liquids

  • 1 cup Water

• Other

  • 1 pint jar with lid seal and ring

Ingredients

• 3 small cucumbers, sliced
• ¼ onion, sliced
• 2 garlic cloves, sliced
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon peppercorns
• 2 teaspoon dill seed
• ½ cup vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 1 pint jar with lid seal and ring

Directions

• Put a layer of sliced onions and garlic in the bottom of the jar.
• Pack half full with sliced cucumbers.
• Layer another thing layer of onion and garlic.
• Fill completely with cucumbers.
• Top with salt, sugar, peppercorns, and dill seed.
• Pour vinegar till jar is ⅓ full.
• Fill remainder with water.
• Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
