Ingredients

  • Refrigerated

    • 2 Eggs
  • Condiments

    • 1 Powdered sugar and maple syrup
  • Baking & Spices

    • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
    • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
    • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • Bread & Baked Goods

    • 8 slices Brioche
    • 1 Oil to grease waffle iron with
  • Beer, Wine & Liquor

    • 1/2 cup Eggnog

Directions

  • Preheat your waffle iron. Grease the iron with some oil and a brush.
  • Whisk the eggs, eggnog, granulated sugar, nutmeg, and salt together until combined well.
  • Depending on how large your waffle iron is (see note at bottom of recipe), work with as many slices of brioche that you’re able to fit into your waffle iron at once. Dip each side of the brioche slices in your batter before placing them in the iron.
  • Close the iron lid and cook according to your waffle iron’s manufacturer instructions. For me, it’s about 3 minutes, with me rotating the iron at some point in the process.
  • Dust the waffles with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
