Ingredients

• 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups applesauce
• 3 cups all purpose flour
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 2 tsp. salt
• 3 tsp. ground ginger
• 4 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp. allspice or nutmeg or apple pie spice
• 1/2 cup powder sugar

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch angel food cake Bundt cake pan. Cream together butter, white granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth and combined together. Add eggs and applesauce and combine well. Add remaining ingredients and beat until all is smooth. Pour evenly into a pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from center of cake. Dust with powdered sugar.
