    • 2 Eggs, large
  • Baking & Spices

    • 1 tsp Baking soda
    • 2 3/4 cups Flour
    • 2 tbsp Mccormick 2 mccormick ground cinnamon, Ground
    • 2 tsp Mccormick cream of tartar
    • 3 tsp Mccormick vanilla extract, Pure
    • 1/2 cup Shortening
    • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • Dairy

    • 1 stick Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Cream of Tartar
  • 3 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoon2 McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 large eggs

Directions

  • In a medium size bowl mix together your flour, cream of tartar baking soda and combine with a whisk.
  • In your kitchen aid mixer mix together your sugar, butter, shortening, eggs and McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract. Mix together on medium speed until all is combined.
  • Once its combined slowly add in the flour mixture and allow it to mix fully. This process takes about 3 minutes to do.
  • Remove the bowl from the mixer and place plastic wrap on top and place in the 1 refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Once it has chilled remove from fridge and place on a cutting board.
  • Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Place in oven at 400 degrees for 9 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
  • Enjoy
