Description

A cool and refreshing way to end your day and start the evening. Made all the better with the addition of St. Germain.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Hendricks Gin (no other gin will do)
  • 1 oz St. Germain (no other elderflower liqueur will do)
  • 1/4 oz Extra Dry Vermouth
  • 1 inch chunk Hot House Cucumber
  • 2 slices Hot House Cucumber (for you garnish & maybe your eyes)

Directions

  • Grab your martini glass and pop it into the freezer until youre ready to fill er up. Alternatively, throw in a few ice cubes and top with cold water and set aside.
  • Take your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice.
  • Over the ice, pour in the Hendricks Gin, St. Germain and vermouth.
  • Take the chunk of cucumber and cut it in half. Take a spoon and scrape the insides right into the shaker. Break up the remains of the cucumber you just scraped and plop those in as well.
  • Put the top on the shaker and give it a good workout for about 8 seconds or so.
  • Skewer your cucumber slices. Grab your martini glass from the freezer (or dump out the ice water) and lovingly place your garnish inside.
  • Strain the shaken mixture into your glass, dousing the cucumber slices with the heavenly liquid.
  • Take a sip to prevent spillage. Savor it. Enjoy it. Roll your eyes back. Have a sigh of relief.
  • Lift up your glass and drink the rest.
  • Serves: 1 very full martini
