  • 2 tsp Milk

Ingredients

• ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
• ⅔ cup sugar
• 1 egg, separated
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• ⅓ cup cocoa
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 26 Hersheys Kisses
• Vanilla Glaze:
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 1 tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
• 2 tsp. milk

Directions

• In mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Combine flour and cocoa in small bowl and then blend into butter mixture.
• Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
• Heat oven to 350. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
• In small bowl, beat egg white slightly. Place chopped nuts into a separate small bowl.
• Roll dough into 1 balls. Dip in egg white and then roll in nuts. Place on cookie sheet and lightly press in center of each cookie.
• Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
• While they are baking, mix Vanilla Glaze ingredients together until smooth.
• As soon as cookies are removed from oven, spoon about ¼ tsp. filling into center of each cookie. Press a Hersheys Kiss on top of filling. Carefully remove from cookie sheet.
