Homemade Holiday Gift: Cookies in a Jar

Description

Ingredients

• 1 extra large Ball Jar
• 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ¾ cup light brown sugar
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 2 cups semi-sweet morsels
• 1 piece of white computer paper

Directions

• In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
• Fold the piece of computer paper into the jar to create a funnel. Gradually pour the flour mixture in the funnel, to the bottom of the Ball Jar. Level out the flour layer.
• Measure brown sugar into small bowl. Pour brown sugar into the paper funnel to create the second layer. Using a spoon, press down to create an even layer.
• Measure granulated sugar into small bowl. Gradually pour into the paper funnel and level out to create the third layer.
• Pour chocolate chips in the paper funnel to create the top layer.
• For the instruction tag: Youll need:1 cup butter, softened; 2 large eggs;1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Steps: 1. Pour contents of jar in large mixing bowl. 2. Add butter, mix until creamy.3. Add eggs, beat well. 4. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 375° for 9-11 minutes.
