Hot and Cheesy Crab Dip

  • 16 oz Lump crab meat

  • 3 tbsp Dill, Fresh
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp Lemon, zest
  • 1 Lemon slices and extra dill

• Condiments

  • 2 1/4 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 Black pepper, ground

  • 3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, grated

Directions

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• In a medium sauté pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic, lemon zest and fresh dill. Sautee for about 2 minutes or until aromatic. You don’t want to brown the garlic. Add the crab meat and mix well to combine.
• Remove from the heat and pour into a mixing bowl. Let the mix cool for a few minutes. Add the mayonnaise and shredded cheese. Mix well and season with ground black pepper.
• Place the mixture into a baking dish and place in the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes or until is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
• Garnish with lemon slices and dill if desire. Serve hot with pita chips, pita bread or bread slices.
