1 cup granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon molasses

Directions

Combine sugar and molasses in a large bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until the molasses is completely incorporated.
To make a darker brown sugar, continue to add more molasses.
Store it in an airtight container like a Tupperware container or a gallon bag to keep it fresh. If it does harden, add a bit of moisture by setting a moist paper towel on top of the container and then microwave it quickly.
