Ingredients

• 1 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 lb ground pork
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 clove garlic, minced
• 37 oz tomato sauce
• 6 oz tomato paste
• 3 dried red chili peppers, trimmed and chopped
• 3 bay leaves, dried
• 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
• 1 tsp oregano, dried

Directions

• 1In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add onion and meat stirring to crumble until juices run clear. Drain, if needed. 2Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes (the longer, the better). Discard bay leaves.
