Kielbasa & Cabbage Stew

  • 1 lb Kielbasa, smoked

  • 1 small head Cabbage
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh
  • 4 Potatoes, medium

• Canned Goods

  • 8 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 10.5 oz. can Cream of celery soup

• Baking & Spices

  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 2 tbsp Canola oil

• Dairy

  • 4 tbsp Butter

Ingredients

• 2 Tbsp canola oil
• 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 carrots, shredded
• 4 Tbsp butter
• 1 small head of cabbage, cut into 1 inch pieces
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 8 c chicken broth
• 4-5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 10.5 oz. can of cream of celery soup
• 1 Tbsp fresh parsley

Directions

• 1Saute kielbasa in oil in a large pot or dutch oven until browned. 2Add onion and carrots and continue cooking until onins are semi translucent. 3Add butter, cabbage, salt, pepper and garlic powder and continue cooking for about 10 minutes. 4Add chicken broth and cook until cabbage is tender. Once cabbage is cooked, add potatoes and cook another 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender. Add cream of celery soup, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes longer. Add parsley just before serving.
