Ingredients

US measuring cups are used (1 cup = 240 ml)

Directions

  • Soak basil seeds in enough water for 30 minutes.
  • While it is soaking, add sugar to milk and mix till sugar dissolves completely.
  • Keep this in the fridge chilled till needed.
  • Also cook falooda sev as per package instruction.
  • How I did – take some water in a pan, let it come to a rolling boil. Add falooda sev, let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Drain it and rinse it with cold water immediately to stop further cooking. using kitchen scissors, cut them into approx 1 inch pieces, so it will easier to eat later.
  • After 30 minutes of soaking time basil seeds may have swelled up most of the water. If it has water left then drain it well.
  • Take serving glass. First add spoonful of soaked falooda seeds.
  • Then add spoonful of cooked sev.
  • After that 2 tablespoons of mango pulp.
  • Now add few chopped mango pieces.
  • Again do the same layers, spoonful of falooda seeds.
  • Then sev and 1 tablespoon of mango pulp.
  • Now add half cup of milk.
  • Top with a scoop of mango ice cream or vanilla ice cream.
  • Garnish with chopped mango pieces and mint leaf and serve.
  • Follow the same steps for another serving as well.
