    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • Nuts & Seeds

    • 2 tsp Chia seeds
    • 2 tbsp Pecans, raw
  • Dairy

    • 1/2 cup Milk

Ingredients

  • 2-3 T raw pecans, pieces or halves
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • Dash of sea salt
  • (1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional))
  • 1/2 rolled oats, regular or gluten free
  • 1/2 c milk of choice (I use unsweetened almond milk)
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp flax meal
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Dash of sea salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir all ingredients for the pecans together to coat pecans evenly. Spread pecans evenly on a parchment lined baking pan. Bake for about 7-10 minutes or until browned to your liking. In a jar or bowl that can be sealed, mix all ingredients for the oats together. Stir in the glazed pecans. Seal container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours. Enjoy hot or cold!

  It’s been a while since I have added any overnight oat recipes here. But that’s not a sign that I am running out of ideas; it means I am starting to bring my ‘A’ game to the line of overnight oats! And let me tell you, the best is yet to come! The oatmeal recipes that are headed your way do require a little more prep in the kitchen but I promise they will be well worth it. For instance, these Maple Glazed Pecan Overnight Oats do require you to roast the pecans in the oven for just under ten minutes. Most of the overnight oats recipes I have are fully prepped in that time. For this recipe, I ended up adding more pecans and maple into the mix to have some leftover for later to snack on. So in reality, it can be two recipes in one! Also, if you want to take these to the next level, add a few dashes of cinnamon to the pecan mix before roasting. So good! Since I put maple on the pecans, the extra maple in the oats is optional as it may already be sweet enough for you. You can …
