  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar

  • 8 tbsp Butter
  • 1 1/8 cup Heavy cream

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 8 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon maple flavor (found near the vanilla extract at your market)
• 3/4 cup cold heavy cream, plus 1 tablespoon, divided use
• 1/4 cup chopped pecans, plus 1 tablespoon, divided use
• Maple Glaze (recipe below)
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons water
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• 1/4 teaspoon maple flavor

Directions

• -Preheat your oven to 375°, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat (my preferred method).
• -In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until completely smooth; use immediately, or keep covered until ready to use, at which point just re-whisk to blend once again.
