McDonald's Egg McMuffin

Directions

• Lightly toast the English muffin till the interior is browning and then butter the inside of each slice.
• While the English Muffin is toasting spray your egg ring with cooking spray and place it in a lightly buttered skillet on medium heat.
• Add egg to the egg ring and pop the yolk with a pointed utensil, sprinkle egg lightly with salt.
• Add 1 ice cube to the skillet and cover. The steam created allows the top of the egg to firm up while the bottom cooks.
• Once the bottom of the egg is cooked and the top is starting to firm up flip the egg and remove the ring. Slide a knife around the edges of the ring to separate it from the egg if it is sticking. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
• Add slice of Canadian bacon to the skillet and cook until it is heated through, flipping once.
• Add American cheese to the bottom slice of the English muffin.
• Top cheese with egg patty.
• Add Canadian bacon and cover with the top slice of the English muffin.
