Microwave Bread Pudding in a Mug

  • 1 Egg

  • 2 tbsp Chocolate
  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Sprinkle Nutmeg or mace
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla

• Bread & Baked Goods

  • 1 1/2 King's hawaiian sweet rolls

• Dairy

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/3 cup Milk

Ingredients

• 1 1/2-2 Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
• approx. 1 TBSP butter, to spread on bread
• 2 TBSP chocolate (I used semi-sweet, but this is your flavor preference)
• 1 egg
• 2 TBSP sugar
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1/8 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp vanilla
• Sprinkle of nutmeg or mace

Directions

• Cut Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls in half, making a top and bottom.
• Spread each section with a little butter
• Cut buttered bread in to cubes, each half would make about 4 cubes.
• Add bread to your ramekin.
• In a bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
• Pour over the bread cubes and give a gentle stir.
• Add in your chocolate pieces or chips and give a gentle stir to combine.
• Put in microwave, uncovered and cook for 1 minute.
• Check to see if there is any liquid left, if yes, cook another 30 seconds.
• Check again, and if needed, cook another 15-30 seconds.
• You want to make sure the custard is set.
• Top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce or whatever you feel is right.
• Then eat!
