Nectarine Vodka Lemonade

Ingredients

• 1 cup fresh nectarines, peeled
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup vodka

Directions

• In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and nectarines and bring to a simmer until the sugar is dissolved.
• Throw into the jar of a blender and puree until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
• Add the lemon juice, water and the vodka to the nectarine simple syrup.
• Fill the glasses completely with ice cubes and add some nectarine slices. Pour the cocktails over the ice and serve immediately.
