Ingredients

  • 2 cans garbanzo beans, well drained and rinsed (I used 15 ounce cans)
  • 2 cups water, divided
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin

Directions

  • Add the beans, 1 cup water, Tahini, lemon juice and seasonings to a high-powered blender. Reserve 1 cup of water to adjust consistency. Blend on high (or smoothie setting if using a Vitamix) for about a minute, add water and blend until desired texture is reached.
