Parmesan Penne with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli

Ingredients

• ½ lb dried penne noodles
• 1½ tbsp olive oil
• ½ cup chopped onions
• 2 raw chicken sausage links
• garlic salt
• 1 lb frozen/microwavable broccoli
• fresh parmesan

Directions

• In a large pot, boil the pasta till al dente. Set aside.
• While the pasta is boiling, heat the olive oil and sauté the onions until translucent. Add in the chicken sausage and break it apart with a cooking spoon. Cook till no longer raw.
• Microwave the broccoli according to the instructions on the bag, or add broccoli to the boiling pasta noodles and cook till easy pierced with a fork. Roughly chop and toss it with the chicken and sausage mixture. Season with garlic salt to taste.
