Description

This peach mint bourbon sweet tea is the perfect summertime sipper. Slightly sweet, full of fresh peach flavor and spiked with just a splash of bourbon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound peaches, sliced
  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons pureed peaches
  • Sweet tea, cold

Directions

  • For peaches: Stir together peaches and brown sugar in a medium sized mixing bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning the peaches should be juicy and the sugar will be dissolved. Add to a blender and puree until smooth, or it reaches your desired consistency. For drink: Add mint leaves to the bottom of a tall cocktail glass. Gently muddle the mint leaves in the bottom of the glass. Add in ice, bourbon, pureed peaches and top with sweet tea. Stir to combine and enjoy ice cold.
