Peppermint Rice Krispie Bars

  • 6 cups Rice krispies cereal with holiday colors

  • 1/2 tsp Peppermint extract
  • 1 Tub Vanilla frosting

  • 1 10 oz bag Marshmallows, miniature
  • 1/4 cup Peppermint candies

Ingredients

• 10 oz bag miniature marshmallows
• 3 Tablespoons butter
• ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
• 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal with holiday colors
• Non-stick cooking spray
• 8 x 8 baking pan
• Tub of vanilla frosting
• ¼ cup crushed peppermint candies

Directions

• Add your marshmallows and butter to a large microwave safe bowl and cook for about 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows start to get soft.
• Stir your marshmallows and butter well and mix in your peppermint extract.
• Now mix in your Rice Krispies cereal.
• Grease your baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray and press your Rice Krispie treats into the pan.
• Put in the freezer for about 15 minutes or until they start to firm up.
• Frost your Rice Krispies with ½ tub of frosting and top with crushed peppermints.
• Slice and enjoy!
