  • 8 cups of broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, (when finished)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees, and line a large baking pan with foil paper.
  • Wash and cut broccoli into florets, (I bought a bag of broccoli that was already cut into florets).
  • Place broccoli into a large bowl. Mix olive oil and lemon together and pour over broccoli. Next add garlic, parmesan, and crushed red pepper to the bowl. Stir and toss to combine and coat evenly.
  • Place in baking pan and bake for 15 minutes, turning broccoli half way through baking time.
  • When finished sprinkle broccoli with course sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
