    • 1 lb Green beans, fresh
    • 6 1/2 oz Mushrooms, canned
    • 2 tbsp Sun dried tomatoes
    • 1 tsp Thyme, fresh
  • Oils & Vinegars

    • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Beer, Wine & Liquor

    • 1/2 cup White wine, dry

The white wine gives a nice flavor to the green beans with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes provide a contrasting color. The mushrooms are optional.

Directions

  • Cook green beans in salted boiling water about 4 minutes.
  • Drain and cool.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and cook until lightly browned.
  • Add wine, mushrooms, tomatoes and thyme.
  • Increase heat to high and bring to a boil for 2 minutes until most of the wine evaporates.
  • Remove from heat and mix in green beans.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper, if desired.
