Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (GF if necessary)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • For the apples:
  • 1 large honey crisp apple (or any apple)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • Add-ons:
  • Crushed pecans
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Nut butter
  • Coconut sugar

Directions

  • Cook your oats on the stove top normally.
  • While the oats are cooking, melt the coconut oil on a skillet. Dice the apple, add the cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut sugar, and sauté it in the pan for two-three minutes, until tender.
  • Once the oats are done, divide into two bowls and add the sautéed apple. Add on any of your add-ons and enjoy!
  • Serves: 2 bowls
