Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • ½ Cup Salsa
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, diced
  • 2 Cups Iceberg Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 Medium Tomato, diced
  • 3 Slices Sargento Ultra Thin Colby Jack Cheese, diced
  • Tortilla Chips (5-6 per person)

Directions

  • In a large skillet, brown ground turkey. This usually takes 7-8 minutes. I use a nonstick skillet so I dont have to use additional oil.
  • Add in ½ bell pepper, salsa, and seasonings to ground turkey. Cook for additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Layer in a bow:l crushed tortilla chips, meat mixture, lettuce, tomato, raw bell pepper, cheese, and any additional toppings as preferred.
  • Serves: 4
