Thumbprint Hershey's Kiss Cookies

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 C. flour
• 1 C. butter
• 1 C. shortening
• 1 C. sugar
• 1 C. powdered sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 can chocolate frosting
• 36 Hersheys Kisses

Directions

• Preheat your oven at 375 degrees F. Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix throughly. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add spoonful of dough on cookie sheets. Press thumb in middle of each cookie. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden on edges. Spread fillings of cookies with chocolate frosting and top with a Hersheys Kiss. Let cookies sit until chocolate frosting is firm.
