No one will guess that you cheated by using canned tomato soup. This lovely soup tastes homemade all the way! —Sandra Fick, Lincoln, Nebraska
Love this soup! I started by cooking chopped onions and garlic in olive oil. I didn’t have any sun dried tomatoes, I put in an extra can of tomato soup and ? cup of pasta sauce. I used orzo instead of tortellini to save on the cheesy calories.
This was pretty good, I have made it twice now and the second time I added fresh onion and garlic, a package of baby spinach and a pint of home canned tomatoes to the original recipe.Smells great cooking and is now in the cookbook. Thanks for sharing!
The flavors are amazing for such a simple easy recipe. My family loved it! I will definitely b making this again.
This was very good. I used a dried cheese tortellini, which worked out fine. I also added a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste which really enhanced the tomato flavor. Garlic bread on the side was a great addition. Will be making this often!
I have made this soup numerous times now, though cut back the amounts as there is just me. Another ingredient you may want to try to change it up a lot but tastes wonderful, is to add drained and rinsed canned crabmeat. It is really great.
I served it with warm, cheesy garlic bread and it was amazing on a fall day.
My husband absolutely loves this soup! I love it, too. Making it made the kitchen smell amazing! It was so easy to make. We love tomato soup and this was an improved spin on the basic. This soup is a meal. I served it with crescent rolls. The Bomb!
Absolutely amazing! I love sun-dried tomatoes and they make this soup perfect!
This soup is excellent. Love the flavors. Followed directions and didnt change anything. Wonderful as is. Many friends have asked for this recipe.
