Ingredients

• 35 Nilla Vanilla Wafers (Mr. Christies)
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 cups melting chocolate (pink)
• 1 cup candied chocolate, coarsely chopped

Directions

• Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
• Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper and place vanilla wafers in a single layer to cover the bottom of the pan.
• Melt butter and sugar together in a sauce pot to make the caramel, bringing to a low boil for 6 minutes; dont let it burn but dont stir.
• Pour the caramel mixture over the vanilla wafers evenly and bake in the oven for 6 minutes.
• While the pan is in the oven, melt the chocolate wafers in a double broiler on medium low heat, stirring often to melt through. If you prefer the microwave, melt chocolate on medium high heat in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted and ready to pour.
• Remove wafer pan from the oven and let sit to cool 5 minutes before pouring chocolate over the top. Pour the chocolate to evenly cover the top of the wafers and caramels, spreading it evenly over the surface.
• Before the chocolate begins to harden, sprinkle your candied chocolate chunks over the top.
• Place pan into the freezer or fridge until completely cool and hardened.
• Break or cut into smaller pieces, approximately 20 pieces at 2-3 per piece.
